For the purposes of this Regulation, the following definitions apply:

Saft AA lithium batteries for industrial and commercial applications. These AA batteries are not like conventional AA batteries. They have a rated voltage of 3,6 V and can be used in applications where the device must operate for a long period of time such as meters, alarm systems and safety devices.

The LS14500 batteries use lithium thionyl chloride, which gives them a high energy density and a low discharge rate, ideal if they are to be stored for long periods. In addition, they comply with the safety standards IEC60086-4 and IEC60079-11.

Why should I choose these batteries?

Lithium AA batteries Saft LS14500 have a rated voltage of 3,6 V, which is much higher than conventional AA batteries. They must be used on equipment or instruments designed to withstand this value, otherwise damage may occur. Saft LS14500 lithium batteries are not rechargeable and should therefore not be recharged.
