Electric lock required

The VDS PH 270 motors are reversible and do not feature hydraulic locking.

For this reason, an electric lock compatible with the gate configuration must be installed to keep the leaves securely locked when the automation is stopped. The electric lock is not included in this kit.

The kit includes the VDS EURO 230 M2 control unit ref. E105, designed to control swing gate automations with two 230 Vac motors.

The control unit manages opening and closing movements, operating times, safety devices and other configurable automation functions.

It allows coordinated control of both leaves of the swing gate.

The kit includes 2 VDS E010 ECO-R transmitters for remote control of the automation.

The transmitters operate at 433 MHz with Rolling Code technology.

The kit includes a pair of VDS 12T transmitter / receiver safety photocells to protect the passage area during gate operation.

The hydraulic system of the VDS PH 270 allows operation at a high duty cycle, while providing robust and quiet performance.

The kit can be used in both residential installations and access points requiring a higher operating frequency than some residential electromechanical operators.

Both gate leaves must be properly balanced, have hinges in good condition and move smoothly by hand before the operators are installed.

Important before ordering

The maximum limits of 3 metres and 500 kg apply to each leaf and must be assessed together with the installation geometry, hinge position, wind resistance, mechanical condition and intended use.

Please note that both PH 270 operators are reversible. To keep the gate locked in the closed position, a suitable electric lock must be installed.
