Working of wind alarm

The wind function is designed to protect the awning or rolling system against wind racks. When the speed exceeds the threshold configured for approximately 2 seconds, the meteorological power plant enters alarm status and sends a closing order.

During the wind alarm, the awning remains collected. Once the alarm is finished, the system maintains an approximate security time of 20 minutes before allowing normal operation again.

Operation of the sun alarm

The sun function allows the awning to operate automatically when the luminosity exceeds the configured level. Depending on programming, if sunlight is maintained above the threshold for approximately 5 minutes, the control panel sends an opening order.

When the low luminosity of the configured level, the control panel can order the closure after an approximate time of 15 minutes. In case of a rapid drop of luminosity below 15 Klux, the closure is made after approximately 3 minutes.

Installation

The meteorological power plant must be installed in an area exposed to air and solar rays, avoiding protected areas where wind or luminosity can not correctly measure. The body of the sensor must be installed horizontally to ensure a correct reading.

The feed is made at 120/230 V AC. For abroad installations, it is recommended to use suitable exterior cable and always respect the indications of the manufacturer and the current regulations.

Compatibility

The CAME 809XG-0110 is designed to work with engines and accessories with compatible radio receiver. Before installing it, it is important to verify that automation use the same radio frequency and that the associated emitter is compatible with the sun function.

Important note: according to the manufacturer's manual, the issuers prior to the year 2022 are not compatible with the sun function.
