The Cardin Edge OC2 is a 2-channel plug-in receiving card for Cardin electronic power plants / Telcoma prepared for receptors with outputs Open Collector.

Work at a frequency of 433,92 MHz and is mainly designed to be used with cardin control of the EDGE series.

It also maintains compatibility with transmitters from the ancient Tango Series, as long as they correspond to the compatible versions of fixed code.

The receiver has 2 channels and connects directly into the expected housing of the electronic plant, receiving from this feeding 5 VDC.

With standard memory allows you to memorize up 163 codes, being able to expand capacity up 675 codes by a compatible 24LC16 memory.

It is not compatible with Tango Rolling Code transmitters or the Tangosw series.

Important: it is not a universal relays receiver

The EDGE OC2 uses Open Collector outputs and must be installed in an electronic station prepared specifically for this type of plug-in receiver.

It should not be connected directly as if it were a conventional external 12 / 24V receiver with NO / NC contacts. Before placing the order, verify that the control panel has the connector compatible for Open Collector receiver.

The receiver has 2 open Collector outputs. When receiving a previously memorized code, the corresponding output activates the function assigned by the electronic power station.

Usually, the first channel is used for function Step by step / START, although the final function will depend on the plant where it is installed.

The EDGE OC2 is designed to be installed in central Cardin / Telcoma pREDISPOSED FOR SLUCABLE OPEN COLLECTOR Receiver.

Among the current cardin ranges are there centrals that incorporate this type of accommodation, as certain automation configurations SL EVO.

Before the order, always check in the central manual that supports a oC / Open Collector receiver to 5VDC.

The programming is done through the system of self-learning of the receiver.

To memorize a control in the first channel, the programming button is used P1 from the receiver, subsequently following the transmission from the compatible Edge Command.

During programming, Cardin recommends keeping approximately 50 cm away between the command and the receiver.

Compatibility with ancient controls Tango

The EDGE OC2 is compatible with transmitters from the old Tango series, but not with Rolling Code or Tangosw versions. Before replacing an old receiver, check the exact reference of the command you currently use.
