Small module to open the garage door by means of a short burst of light, compatible with both cars and motorcycles.

The module has a jumper to select the voltage input according to either positive or negative. Normally when it comes to halogen light it sends the voltage by positive, and for LED light it sends the voltage by negative.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The operation of this module is very simple, by means of relays and discriminators it will be responsible for sending the signal to the button to emit with the control that we will previously have to insert into the module.

The module is connected to 12Vdc in the vehicle with a positive and a negative cable, a third cable will be connected to the long burst wiring. As soon as a short burst of light is made, our control will be activated in the module, where we will previously have to solder the contact of the button to the relay of the module. If you want to operate a second door, you will have to make two consecutive short bursts.

HOW IS IT INSTALLED?

We need a working garage control, we will have to disassemble this transmitter and keep only the electronic board. Next, we will solder two cables to power the remote control in the module, either 3V, 6V or 12V (depending on the type of battery that the remote control has), and then we will solder two cables from button 1 to relay 1, in the case of using another door we will use another two cables from button 2 to relay 2 of the module.

HOW IS IT INSTALLED IN THE VEHICLE?

To install the module in a car or motorcycle, it is ideal to have it done by a professional, so we recommend taking it to a workshop.

The module has a molex connector with 2 power cables (positive 12V and negative), and a third long burst contact cable. They must be located in the vehicle and connected.
