Steerable photocell with battery (0 to 210o) 12-24V

The FT04 photocell (TX + RX) is specially designed for the industrial and private door market. The sensor complies with the regulations for motor doors in Europe. Its shape makes it easy to mount on the wall.

The sensor is easy to use and requires no sensitivity adjustment. The spherical design of the lens is superior to previous sensor designs with built-in parabolic reflectors that had corrosion and dust problems.

Increased safety by incorporating:

- Safety Band test function: the emitter has a built-in Band input designed to inhibit the emitter and thus evaluate the sensor operation.

The receiver operates with a power supply of 12 to 24 VCA/CC. The emitter uses two 3.6 V lithium batteries.

DESCRIPTION OF OPERATION

- This product can only be used to detect direct interruption between the transmitter and receiver; it must not be used with a mirror.

- The low battery alarm function is activated when the power supply voltage is below the acceptable level. During this state, the low battery relay is activated and the sensor still functions properly.

When the emitter stops sounding the low battery alarm, the relay shall remain active for 10 seconds and then deactivate.

- The sensors must be installed on a surface not exposed to strong vibrations.
