INSTALLATION & USE

The BUR-STAR system is intended to be installed in conjunction with an 8k2 safety weatherstripping in garage door installations. This system allows the radio connection to be made between the safety weatherstripping and the control panel. It is not guaranteed to be used to operate equipment other than those specified.

Install the transmitter as close to the receiver as possible. Do not install in environments with metal disturbances or interference, this could cause delay in the reaction of the system.

RECORD BUTTON

The weatherstripping transmitter paired with this receiver is already factory engraved. In the event that you wanted to save a new one, the old one would be deleted. It only allows one sender per receiver.

Press for 1s, the record LED lights up and then press the "Test" button on the weatherstripping emitter for 5sec. The Record LED and Buzzer flicker and automatically exit Record mode.
